It quickly became a favorite among farmers and home gardeners for its rich, sweet flavor and beautiful, blush-pink color.

They are prized for their sweet, creamy, smooth flesh and size of the fruit, each fruit typically weigh between 1 to 2 lb.

The indeterminate potato-leafed vines of Pink Brandywine tomato plants typically produce 2 fruits per cluster that ripen later in the season, taking 90 days to reach full maturity.

Tomatoes are available in a wide variety of shapes, color and sizes. They are broadly classified into two categories:

  • Determinate are those that grow to pre-determined height. They are good choices for canning and sauces.
  • Indeterminate are those that continue to grow in height and produce fruits throughout the growing season.
